In late February this year, 1D took another trip to the Hirschstetten flower gardens to see a brand new display. Flowers were arranged – for example – around classic cars and coaches, or with silver statutes of the Buddha in their midst. All visitors, our pupils included, were able to vote for their favourite part of the display, and were spoilt for choice with a wide array of creative and colourful floral arrangements and patterns.
A further highlight was a look inside the palm house there, where birds, snakes and other interesting reptiles could be seen. En route back to school, pupils stopped off at a playground and practised teamwork and balance on a swinging contraption – the perfect final activity of a great day out full of fun learning experiences!
